Health care costs have always been getting higher and higher as our medical knowledge and medical technology advances. Now, the health care that is theoretically and technically possible is not financially possible for everyone.
Now comes the reestablishment of natural selection which our modern civilization postponed. The strongest & best adapted survive. Thus, only the those the most healthy, or rich.
As for those with mental health problems? Well, we are the lowest priority, since we are the least likely to afford the care we need, and the least likely to be missed.

Someone I know discovered that they had an aggressive form of cancer in December, 2007. The Cross Cancer Institute scheduled treatment for the middle of March.

They say that any publicity is good publicity. For “The Town of Hardisty”, the publicity of the TV show, “The Week The Women Went”, is good. For the people of Hardisty, the publicity is not so good.
